Semester Two deadline (May). If you apply for an extension in Semester Two you may receive an extension to one of the following extension deadlines: A set date in May of the same academic year, usually around 2 weeks (consideration at summer exam board) The standard Reassessment deadline in July (consideration at the reassessment board) The maximum submission date is usually 24 terms (eight years) from the start date of your studies and is increased accordingly based on any suspension of status or extension. The Graduate Studies Assistant in your department / faculty will be able to tell you your maximum submission date. Expected completion date You must submit your EC claim as soon as possible and no more than one week after the assessment deadline. Self-certified extensions: 5. For Dissertations and Research Projects, the standard mitigation is a two-week extension. 6. Two-week extension claims submitted before the assessment deadline are eligible for Self-Certification

Extension to dissertation submission deadline - for postgraduate taught students If you are unable to complete your dissertation by your current submission deadline, you can apply for an extension. Due to the current restricted campus operations, applications should be sent electronically.
